To mark the #16DaysOfActivism, @inspireteenagersfoundation in collaboration with other Civil society organisations (CSOs) in Kiserian took a united stand against the rising cases of femicide, insecurity, and all forms of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), joining the global movement of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

This collective action involved a walk from Delta to the Kiserian Police Station. The purpose of this demonstration was multifaceted: to raise awareness, demand accountability, and clearly remind the community that every woman, girl, boy, and vulnerable adult deserves safety and dignity.

The day's efforts culminated in a major milestone at the police station: the official opening of the GBV/Child Protection Unit. This new facility is a critical safe space, designated to ensure that survivors of violence and abuse can receive timely access to necessary support, protection, and justice.

The CSOs defined their effort as "more than a campaign," viewing it as a powerful call to action for stronger systems and safer streets, with the ultimate purpose being to end violence in all its forms.
